Customer Notification
Effective August 16, 2010, we will begin closing the Branch lobby at 3:00 PM. The Branch Drive-through hours will remain the same as in the past, closing at 6:00 PM Monday through Friday as well as 7:00 AM until Noon on Saturday. The Main Bank facility will retain the current lobby hours closing at 5:00 PM on Monday through Thursday and 6:00 PM on Friday.
FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program
Citizens Bank of Rogersville is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount of the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. Freedom accounts in excess of $250,000 are not covered in this guarantee. Effective July 1, 2010, SUPER NOW accounts in excess of $250,000 are not covered in this guarantee.
